  • How should I prepare for an in home session?

    The best way to prepare your body is to fully hydrate two to three days before your session. Rule of thumb is half of your body weight in ounces of water. To prepare your space, clear out a first level room that’ll fit a twin size bed. Your therapist will bring everything that’s needed for your session. You would undress only to your level of comfort. Disposable under garments are available for any manual lymphatic drainage sessions.

  • How do I know which session to book?

    It’s advised that new clients book a phone consult prior to booking. Your therapist will customize a treatment plan, that’s subject to change, based on your body’s needs. As a start, book a 90 minute comprehensive bodywork session for new clients.

  • What is comprehensive bodywork?

    Comprehensive body work is NOT just a regular massage. It’s a collection of modalities combined in one session or over multiple sessions to reach your body’s needs. Your therapist may refer you out to other practitioners to pair with your treatment. Healing your body is a journey.

  • What is post op lymphatic drainage?

    Emil Vodder Method of manual lymphatic drainage is used to decrease the healing time, reduce inflammation, and assist in fluid retention after having cosmetic surgery. MLD aids in reducing the production of fibrotic tissue. This is a pain-less treatment. Every procedure and body is different. Your therapist will recommend the number of sessions needed for best care. Keep in mind that a nutritious diet, rest, and compression are also needed for best healing.

  • What is Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage?

    Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage is a subfascial approach to manual lymphatic drainage. BLD addresses deep lymph fluid which aids in a deeper detox and body contouring. Beloved by celebrities for the slimming effect, BLD is also great for overall wellness. It is not recommended for those that suffer with the following: acute infections/fever, circulatory issues or numbness, major cardiac problems, hemorrhage, acute enuresis, active cancer, diabetes, or acne grade4.

  • What should I do after a session?

    After your custom treatment, you may feel relaxed and tired. It’s best to schedule when you’re able to rest and hydrate for the remaining of the day. Your therapist will give you specific “homework” to get the best out of your session as well as prepare for the next.
